8/2/97 - Added a Snow index, 21KB in size listing 51 individuals with the surname Snow plus their parents and spouses where available. Also updated the Hamlin index 175KB in size listing 232 individuals with the surname Hamblen or Hamblin or Hamlin plus their parents and spouses where available.

Month of July - too little! My day job has been all consuming, rolling out over 1000 PCs plus a major new version of software plus a new operating system to about 1,600 desktops in five different centers in four States. Hope to be back to normal by the end of October, 1997.

5/25/97 - Finished changing the "visited links" color on each of 306 files. See 4/27/97.

4/27/97 - Have begun to change the "visited link" color on all files from lime green, which is prefer cosmetically, to purple. A friend who has contributed much to this site is partially color blind. This change also should make it easier for others.

4/26/97 - Add several narratives to the Chute line, based on Perley Leighton's unpublished manuscript. Also made some Chute corrections and additions. Chute includes one Epps and two Wood narratives.

4/19/97 - Redid the Giles Hamlin line based on data supplied by Catherine Flower Hamlin Wehrle.

4/12/97 - Redid the Noyes lines and added Noyes narratives based on Perley Leighton's unpublished manuscript. Still need to add Lorie-Ann Noyes' 14 pages of data before redoing the Noyes Index.

This includes standardizing on the structure of a Table of Contents for each of the Colonial surnames. Anderson, Bamford/Basford, Mayberry, Mansfield and Sawyer have been completed.

9/23/96 - Added the descendants of Richard Appling, probable ancestor of John Anderson's second wife Mary Applin. Also see the Mitchell line branched off the Appling line.

9/21/96 - Added the first five generations of descendants of Captain Thomas and Mary (Perkins) Bradbury, born 28 February 1611, Wicken Bonhunt, England. Also added sixth through tenth generations of descendants of Jacob and Abigaile (Eaton) Bradbury.

9/21/96 - Added the descendants of Thomas Bartlett. John1 Anderson's second wife was Mary Applin born 11 Oct 1677, daughter of schoolmaster John and Bethshuah (Bartlett) Applin. Bethshuah Bartlett's father was Ensign Thomas Bartlett, born 1594 in England. Thomas was an original proprietor of Watertown, Ma.

9/18/96 - Narrative added for Thomas Chute, first settler of Windham, Maine.

9/17/96 - Added the Chute line. Thomas Chute, descended from Lionel Chute of Dedham, England, was the first settler of Windham, Maine some time around 1737.

9/7/96 - Redid and added significantly to the Farrington line form Edmund Farrington through five generations then the six through tenth of Thomas Sewall Farrington descendants.

9/2/96 - Added Len Campbell's descendants of the Mansfield line from Bethiah Mansfield and John Conant.

8/24/96 - Updated the Woodward line.

8/22/96 - Added new surname index files for Anderson, Bamford, Flynn Mansfield, Meehan, Rooney, and Sawyer. Used Microsoft Access 95's Internet Assistant to generate this tables.

8/21/96 - Narratives added for William and Elizabeth (Dennis) Mayberry of Ballemoney, Antrim County, Ireland and Windham, Maine plus one of their sons Richard who married Martha Bolton.

8/14/96 - Added piece found in Windham in the Past by Dole about John Proctor of Salem witchcraft fame and his son Samuel, who married Anthony Brackett's daughter Sarah.

8/13/96 - Redid the Meehan line plus added a very interesting piece by Aidan J Meehan on the history of the Meehan family.
