The major source for the following information is a document provided to Eva Farrington Cary in July of 1938 by Colonel Robert Arthur titled Farrington Genealogy.

Sarah3 Frances Farrington (Serenus2, Thomas1 Sewall) b. July 10, 1835 at Vassalboro, Me. d. Jan 12, ____ , at Plentywood, Montana. She m'd June 30, 1858 at Otisco, Minn., Will T. Armstrong and settled at Bolivar, Mo., later moving to Dakota. They had children:

1. Mary4 Lilian Armstrong b. Mar 6, 1862 at Horicon, Wisc. d. Apr 5, 1863 at Horicon, Wisc.
2. Ethel4 Annie Armstrong b. Jan 16, 1869 m'd ______ ______
3. Joanna4 Mary Armstrong b. Jan 31, 1876 m'd ______ Shuttleworth of Plentywood, Montana.
