Family of John3 Noyes 1674-1724

John Noyes, son of Cutting and Elizabeth (Knight) Noyes was born at Newbury MA 15 Nov. 1674, died before March of 1724; married at Newbury 6 Apr. 1700 his cousin Mary Noyes, born there 10 Dec. 1675, daughter of John and Mary (Poor) Noyes (see KNIGHT Section). Like his father, he was a cordwainer.

The Noyes genealogy lists a daughter Elizabeth, born 9 Mar. 1719, who is not listed in the Newbury vital records.

  4. Martha, b. say 1712; m. 28 Feb. 1724 Oliver Moody, b. Newbury 7 Oct. 1701, son of Thomas and Judith (Hale) Moody: 4 Moody ch.
  5. Moses, b. 13 May 1715, d. Newbury in 1792 (VRs); ?m. 1st 17 Feb. 1742 Margaret Woodbridge, b. 9 Sept. 1725, d. 24 Dec. 1755, dau. of Nathaniel and Anne (Millett) Woodbridge: no ch.; perhaps m. 2nd 5 Jan. 1758 Abigail Savory, b. Newbury 2 Jan. 1725, dau. of Samuel and Abigail (Ordway) Savory: 4 ch.
