George4 was a farmer and always lived on his father's place. This George4 is the person previously mentioned in the flood story, where he paid all the damages. George4 and Martha (Waterhouse) Anderson had seven children: George5 W., William5, Montgomery5, Mary5 E., Laureta5, Thomas5 and Emily5.
This Thomas5 served during the Civil War in F Company, 25th Maine Infantry. Sarah Procter had also been previously m'd to Daniel5 Kilburn Anderson, a cousin to Thomas5. An obituary of a daughter, Mabel6 Anderson, unmarried, follows. She died at 74 years of age.©Copyright Robert E. Anderson 1996
