The major source for the following information is a document provided to Eva Farrington Cary in July of 1938 by Colonel Robert Arthur titled Farrington Genealogy.

Charles3 A. Farrington (Ezekiel2 B. Farrington, Thomas1 Sewall), 2nd Lieut. Co. I, 31st Me., Maine, b. May 14, 1839 at Troy, Waldo Cty., Me. d. June 20, 1864 at Washington, D.C. of wounds received at Cold Harbor. He m'd Mar 8, 1860 (intentions filed Dec 9, 1859) at Waterville, Me., Emily A. McIntire, dau of Timothy McIntire, a riverman, b. Apr. 1835 d. May 27, 1895 at Waterville, Me.

They had children:

  1. Charles4 H. Farrington b. Mar 20, 1860 at Waterville, Me. d Jan 19, 1930 at Waterville, Me. A farmer, he m'd Nov 20, 1895 at Waterville, Me., Caroline P. Dustin, living 1937 at 20 Pleasant St. Waterville, Me. They had no issue.
  2. Georgia4 A. Farrington b. Mar 14, 1862 at Waterville, Me., d. in 1896. She m'd Apr 2, 1884 at Waterville, Me., Frederick H. Fales, of Waterville, Me., b. in 1847 d. in 1925.
