With the exception of one family, all of the Andersons listed at this site are descended from John Anderson and either his first wife Rebecca Waite, married on 16 July 1706 in Watertown, Massachusetts, or his second wife Mary Appling, married on 30 July 1716 in Watertown, Massachusetts. Early Anderson families of John and Jane (?) and of John and Mary (Hodges) Anderson are listed as reference, but are probably not related to those following.
